STAAR Alternate 2 is a statewide assessment for students with the most significant cognitive disabilities. Prior to reviewing the eligibility criteria for STAAR Alternate 2, the ARD committee must understand all assessment options, including the characteristics of each assessment and the potential implications of each assessment choice. This session will assist administrators to understand the participation requirements outlined by TEA.
